The SomnoDent device looks like a flexible sports mouthguard. It is worn when you sleep to push your jaw forward, allowing air to move freely. This allows you to sleep and eliminates the snoring that is caused by air seeping through an obstructed airway. There are no straps or masks, as is the case with the CPAP machine. Symptoms of sleep apnea, including headaches, dizziness and facial swelling, are reduced through consistent use of the device.
